Introduction
Jason always had a passion for acting but took an unorthodox approach to pursuing his craft; attaining a bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary specializing in IT and using that to fund his acting career.
"Obtaining my BComm took 4 years of university and another 4 of work experience to become established enough to build a client base with enough flexibility to pursue acting full time. Those 8 years may have cost me early acting credits but put me in a financial position to go after my true passion full time and indefinitely.
The trick was to jump off the corporate ladder after climbing so high.
I halved my income and doubled my happiness. It's made all the difference."
